Dr. Rajkumar T Khubchandani is a Gynaecologist based in Ahmedabad, with over 17 years of experience. He specialises in endoscopy, infertility treatment and high-risk pregnancy. He is currently available for consultation at the Ashirwad Maternity and Nursing Home at Odhav, where he sees patients six days a week.
Before he began practising at the Ashirwad Nursing Home as a Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon, Dr. Khubchandani was attached to the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC) Hospital in Ahmedabad from 1999 to 2005, where he practised along with the renowned Gynaecologist Dr. Vineet Mishra. He also served at that institution as an Assistant Professor.
Besides the MBBS degree, Dr. Khubchandani also has a postgraduate MD degree in Gynaecology. His research thesis was a study of 100 cases of diagnostic laparoscopy with hysteroscopy.

What is the procedure for admission?

The admission procedure is very brief and completely "hassle-free". The advice for admission from any doctor is not mandatory. However, if there is any such advice, the patient's family or relatives should carry the same at the time of admission. Patients and their relatives should come to 2nd floor of Rupal Hospital and meet our attendant for admission formalities.

Delivery, operative and operation theatre charges vary depending upon room category.

What is Day Care Surgery?

Day care surgery means patients undergoing surgery / procedures do NOT require to stay overnight in the Hospital.

What is a mode of payment?

Patients can deposit the payment by cash/ local cheques only on special request.

Is my mediclaim policy accepted at your hospital?

Yes, you have to approach your agent or call the third party and tell them to send the authorization letter through agent or directly contact with the TPA you can avail this facility under their limitation.

What are the visiting hours?

Monday to friday–1.00 PM to 5.00 PM
Saturday - 11 AM to 1.00 PM

What are timings for discharge?

Discharge time is up to 12.00 am after which another day charge will apply if delayed. Discharge formalities should be completed between 11.00 am -12 am on the day of discharge, so that patient can leave soon after that.

Is food from outside allowed?

Yes.

Are the medicines provided by the hospital or do I have to purchase it from outside?
